If you happen to already have a domain (but you want to use the easy path) then moving it over to Bluehost is easy. Once you’re inside you simply “add your URL” instead of buying a new one.

When selecting your domain name, always buy the .com version of your website name. If someone already owns it, do not buy the .org or and other option.
You always want to own your .com URL. If the one you were hoping for is taken, you can get a little creative by adding something to your domain name. For example: if you want the “heavenlycupcakes.com” URL but it’s taken, you can try something like “sarasheavenlycupcakes.com” instead.
